I am now an award winning landscaper!
Wow! This really did come as a complete surprise. I was at work, landscaping a garden in Northstowe when I got the phone call. In truth I nearly didn’t answer it as it was not from a local area code. You know how it is with all those annoying telesales people. A lovely young lady told me “Congratulations you have won our Landscaper of the Year Award”. And for a moment I really did think it was some telesales or marketing scam.
Well am I glad I did answer. I was on a high all over the Christmas period, it was so nice to receive this recognition for my work. For a long time I have been reluctant to post about it. I am proud of my work but I’m not really a ‘Hey look at me!’ type of person, but I have come to terms with it. Besides, it must be good for business.
I am really greatful to all of those customers who had so much faith in me. Those who allowed me to express my creativity at their expense. I hope you all feel you got good value in return.
I look forward to future opportunities to create even better designs and further hone my skills as a landscaper.

For the award and the prize money, I had no idea how much it was and when my wife asked, I mumbled that I thought it was some vouchers for buying tools or something. We were delighted when I looked it up and discovered the amount.
